MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anulex Technologies, Inc. announced today that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has made public two new ICD-9-CM procedure codes for anular repair that will be published in the Federal Register. These new ICD-9-CM procedure codes will take effect October 1, 2008 and will include code 80.53 (repair of the anulus fibrosus with graft or prosthesis) and 80.54 (other and unspecified repair of the anulus fibrosus). ICD-9-CM procedure codes are used to describe medical procedures performed by physicians and other healthcare providers in the inpatient hospital setting.
