EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 2006--Antares Pharma (Amex:AIS - News) has signed a joint development agreement with the Population Council, an international, non-profit research organization. Antares and the Population Council will initially develop contraceptive formulation products containing Nestorone®, by using the Council’s patented and other proprietary information covering the compound, and Antares’ proprietary, advanced transdermal delivery (ATD(TM)) gel platform.
