Let the Boston-to-West Coast airfare wars begin. American Airlines [AMR] announced today that it will give triple frequent-flyer miles to passengers who buy tickets beginning today to fly nonstop between Boston’s Logan International Airport and Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco through May 31.
