(NASDAQ:AMAG) today reported unaudited consolidated financial results for the third quarter and year-to-date periods ended September 30, 2015. Total revenues for the third quarter of 2015 increased to $96.2 million, compared with $25.5 million in the third quarter of 2014. This increase is primarily related to the additions of Makena® (hydroxyprogesterone caproate injection) in November 2014 and Cord Blood Registry (CBR) in August 2015 to the company’s portfolio, which contributed revenue of $65.2 million and $7.2 million, respectively, to the third quarter 2015 results. After certain non-cash and one-time costs related to business development activities and acquisitions, the company reported an operating loss of $1.4 million in the third quarter of 2015, compared with operating income of $4.3 million in the same period last year. This resulted in a net loss of $20.6 million, or $0.62 per basic and diluted share, compared with net income of $1.5 million, or $0.07 per basic share and $0.06 per diluted share for the same period last year. - See more at: http://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2015/11/03/782870/10154942/en/AMAG-Pharmaceuticals-Reports-Third-Quarter-2015-Financial-Results.html#sthash.F8NSp097.dpuf
