Dr. Evans has been with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1973, and began serving as director and chief executive officer in 2004. Dr. Evans’ research at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has focused on pediatric diseases and disorders, and he has authored more than 300 articles and book chapters. Dr. Evans has received several national awards for his research, including three consecutive National Institutes of Health MERIT Awards from the National Cancer Institute.
