ALBANY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AMRI (NASDAQ: AMRI) has named Gergely Makara, Ph.D. as director of chemistry for European operations. Dr. Makara will report to Philip Small, Ph.D. who was promoted from director of chemistry to managing director of AMRI’s European operations in June 2008. The addition of Dr. Makara fulfills another critical step in AMRI’s plan to strengthen and expand its leadership team and operations in Europe.
