PLEASANTON, Calif., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Aesthera Corp., as part of a continuing strategy to deliver to its entire customer base the highest possible levels of support, today announced it has moved to direct sales representation in four states in the southern United States, following the successful model utilized in the company’s other U.S. sales regions.
Aesthera, a leader in developing innovative Photopneumatic(TM) (PPx(TM)) technology, has terminated its distribution agreement with Eclipse Medical, Ltd. Since May 2005 Eclipse had represented Aesthera’s aesthetic treatment systems in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. With this change, customers in the southern region will now directly benefit from Aesthera’s comprehensive customer support programs enjoyed and valued by Aesthera customers elsewhere in the U.S.
“This move was part of a larger strategic initiative to ensure the continued success of our customers,” said Alon Maor, president and CEO of Aesthera. “As we demonstrate each day among our growing installed base of PPx users, delivering the highest degree of after-sale customer support is a core value of this company,” he added. “We have found that our unique customer service processes are best executed by our own specially trained teams. Going direct in this region better enables us to continue to deliver on the Aesthera promise.”
About Aesthera Corporation
Aesthera (www.aesthera.com) develops, manufactures and markets light-based aesthetic treatment systems based on proprietary Photopneumatic Technology. PPx more effectively delivers energy to dermal targets than currently available methods for hair removal, and the treatment of vascular and pigmented lesions. Clinically proven to be pain-free and up to seven times faster, Aesthera’s revolutionary aesthetic system combines the proven properties of therapeutic light with gentle pneumatic energy that creates an unprecedented efficiency of photons delivered to the target. Now Aesthera allows physicians to provide powerfully painless aesthetic treatments in a system with very low cost-to-own and near-immediate profitability -- finally freeing the practice from dependence upon high patient volume to achieve a favorable return on investment.
