(ABS) announced today that it has been issued U.S. Patent No. 7,029,163, apparatus and methods for mixing and delivering biomaterials into skeletal structures. This patent covers technology integrated in ABS Plexis(R) Bone Void Filling System and follows U.S. Patent No. 6,984,063 issued to ABS earlier this year. Plexis(R) is an integrated system used to mix and deliver ABS Concert(R) Spine VR radiopaque bone cement in percutaneous procedures such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty.
