Lex R. Giltaij is the new president and CEO of Active Implants Corp. and will be based in the orthopedic implant company’s new international headquarters in The Netherlands. Memphis-based Active Implants will focus on completing clinical studies of the NUsurface Meniscus Implant, a knee osteoarthritis treatment. Giltaij has had a 20-year international orthopedic career, including holding senior executive positions at Stryker Benelux, Stryker Biotech and St. Francis Medical Technologies’ European subsidiary
