NC Times -- Abbott Vascular, a division of Abbott Laboratories, laid off 120 workers from its operations in Temecula, French Valley and Santa Clara, the company said Friday. Abbott’s factory makes stents, which are tiny wire-mesh tubes implanted in blood vessels to keep them from collapsing. The Temecula campus employs more than 3,000 people, making it the city’s largest employer.
