(Nasdaq: ABAX), a medical products company manufacturing point-of-care blood analysis instruments for both the medical and veterinary markets, announced today the appointment of Brenton Hanlon to the position of vice president of North American medical sales and marketing, effective immediately. Mr. Hanlon, a member of the Abaxis Board of Directors since 1996, has resigned his position on the Board to assume this management/operational position within the Company.
