75% of New Moms Start Out Breastfeeding; 22% Do So at 1 Year

Three out of four mothers started out breastfeeding their newborns in 2007, but new moms are not getting the support they need to maintain breastfeeding, according to findings released Sept. 13 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
