(Nasdaq: XNPT) today announced that it is mailing a letter to stockholders in connection with the Company’s upcoming Annual Meeting, which will be held on June 11, 2014. The letter reviews the May 29, 2014 report issued by Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), the leading independent proxy advisory firm, recommending that XenoPort stockholders vote on the WHITE proxy card “FOR ALL” of XenoPort’s director nominees. On June 2, 2014, a second independent proxy advisory firm, Egan-Jones Proxy Services, also recommended that XenoPort stockholders vote “FOR ALL” of XenoPort’s director nominees on the WHITE proxy card.
