Varian Medical Systems Schedules Investor Meeting at ASTRO in Miami Beach, FL

PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Varian Medical Systems (NYSE: VAR) will hold an investor event on Tuesday, October 4, at the annual meeting of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) in Miami Beach. Investors and members of the financial community are invited to join senior management for a tour of the company’s exhibition at ASTRO.

Varian will host a meeting with management, beginning with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and presentations at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, 1601 Collins Ave. Miami, in the Americana Salon Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Main Tower.
