Singapore - May 19, 2005 -- The Blueprint Initiative, a research program led by Dr. Christopher Hogue at Singapore’s Biopolis, announced today that it has reached a data curation agreement with Blackwell Publishing Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, Blackwell will submit pre-publication manuscripts containing biomolecular interaction from its world-renown title Immunology to Blueprint for curation into the Biomolecular Interaction Network Database (BIND). BIND IDs, akin to GenBank and PubMed IDs, will subsequently be made available in the published manuscripts. Immunology is the first Blackwell journal to work with Blueprint under this agreement.
