The Alfred Mann Foundation Welcomes Eric Grigsby (MD, MBA) As Its Chief Medical Officer

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Alfred Mann Foundation for Scientific Research (AMF), a leading innovator in medical technology, today welcomed Eric Grigsby (MD, MBA) to its team as the Chief Medical Officer. The Alfred Mann Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative solutions for significant unmet medical conditions.

Dr. Grigsby is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Neurovations, a Clinical Research and Consulting company specializing in pain and neurologic disease. Dr. Grigsby is also the Founder and Medical Director of Napa Pain Institute in Napa, California. He continues to practice as a board certified Pain Physician. Dr. Grigsby graduated from Brown University with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Economics. He then completed medical school at Boston University School of Medicine, and completed residency training in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He received his Masters in Business Administration, in Health Sector Management, from Duke University. Professionally, Dr. Grigsby was Director of the hospital pain service at Mayo Clinic, and was later Founding Director of the University of California at Davis Pain Center. He has been in private practice of pain management in Napa, California for 20 years. At Neurovations, Dr. Grigsby collaborated with some of the world’s finest scientists, industry leaders and clinicians, to help shorten the innovation cycle of products for better treatment of pain and neurologic diseases.
