JERUSALEM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA) announced today that it will continue to sell its generic version of OxyContin® tablets at least through the end of 2007. In October 2006, Teva settled a patent dispute with the Purdue Frederick Company and certain of its affiliates pertaining to Teva’s generic version of Purdue’s OxyContin® (oxycodone HCl extended-release) tablets. The settlement provided a full release of Teva and its distributors, purchasers and patients and requires Teva to cease sales of the product upon the occurrence of certain contingencies.
