Stratos Product Development LLC today announced its President, Sean MacLeod, will lead a session at the BIOMEDevice Conference in San Jose on November 11, 2010. Stratos will also exhibit in booth #230.
MacLeod’s presentation -- “An Innovative Approach to Medical Device Development: Tips for Success from Idea to Launch” -- will take place on November 11 at 11:00 a.m. and is part of the conference’s Innovation Showcase. In the session, MacLeod will share strategies for creating a successful medical device development program, including common start-up mistakes, conversations that every project group should have before development is initiated and what to do to reduce mistakes that kill projects.
“In our experience, the success of a project -- and the ability of a product to deliver the best patient care once launched -- is determined at the outset of development. Establishing the correct foundation is absolutely critical for product safety as well as to optimally address unmet market needs,” Sean MacLeod, President, Stratos Product Development, said. “Becoming a trusted resource for the medical device industry is something we have worked very hard for over the last 23 years. We are pleased to be in a position to share our knowledge at this valuable industry event.”
