Spherix Awarded Phase II National Science Foundation SBIR Grant To Support Commercialization Of Total Holographic Characterization

NEW YORK, Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Spheryx, Inc. announced today that the National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded the company a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant for $748,000 to support commercialization of their proprietary Total Holographic Characterization® technology. These highly competitive grants are intended to stimulate technological innovation and commercialization for small businesses.

Early applications of this technology include product development, quality assurance and process control in the semiconductor manufacturing and biologic pharmaceuticals industries. A beta version of the instrument will be available for sale in 2017 to select customer/partner companies.
