Robbins Scientific, a wholly owned subsidiary of Matrix Technologies (Hudson, NH) announced today the sale of several of its laboratory research product lines to SciGene Corporation (www.scigene.com) of Sunnyvale, CA. Terms were not disclosed. Included in the sale to SciGene are Robbins brand hybridization incubators, FlexChem Synthesis Systems, Gemini Waterbaths and TruTemp Heating Systems. With the purchase, SciGene will now manufacture, sell and support these products to research laboratories worldwide from its new facility in Sunnyvale, CA.
