SCAN Health Plan®, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage health plans, today announced the addition of CareMore Health to its provider network in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, effective Aug. 1, 2019.
| LONG BEACH, Calif., Sept. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- SCAN Health Plan®, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit Medicare Advantage health plans, today announced the addition of CareMore Health to its provider network in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties, effective Aug. 1, 2019. Building upon the organizations’ existing collaboration in Santa Clara County, the geographic expansion will offer SCAN members in Southern California more options for high-quality, comprehensive, coordinated care.

As of Aug. 1, 2019, CareMore added over 500 new providers and 10 new medical groups to the SCAN network in Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino counties. CareMore has gained distinction for its programs addressing senior loneliness and social isolation. About SCAN Health Plan SCAN Health Plan® is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract.
