Pediatric Study Costs Rose Substantially From 2000 as Complexity Grew, According to Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 13, 2007 -- The average cost to complete pediatric research on already marketed prescription drugs, in response to a request from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), increased nearly eight times between 2000 and 2006, according to findings released today by the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development.
