Medical diagnostics company Theranos Inc. will expand to Scottsdale, Ariz., leasing a 20,000-square-foot wing in Arizona State University’s SkySong project and targeting more than 500 new hires.
Palo Alto-based Theranos — known as much for its blood-testing technology as its high-powered board — is on a growth trajectory. Reportedly worth $9 billion, it is building a 111,000-square-foot headquarters in Stanford Research Park and employs some 500 people, most of those in Palo Alto and Newark.
