Tokyo, June 9, 2006 (JCN) - Olympus Medical Systems announced on June 8 that it will launch the EVIS LUCERA Bronchovideoscope OLYMPUS BF TYPE F260, a from its videoscope series EVIS, on June 22. The BE TYPE F260 adopts a newly-developed ultrasensitive CCD camera to enable autofluorescence imaging. Accordingly, it will contribute to the early diagnosis of lung cancer and precancerous lesions in the bronchi.
