Non-Invasive Monitoring Systems’ Acceleration Therapeutic Platform: Potential Non-Invasive Home Treatment of Coronary Artery Disease

MIAMI, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Marvin A Sackner, M.D., CEO, Chairman of the Board, Non-Invasive Monitoring Systems, Inc. (NIMS) (OTCBB:NIMU) announced that Professor Masatoshi Fujita and associates, Shiga University of Medical Sciences, Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, Kitano Hospital, Japan presented a paper on NIMS’ Whole Body Periodic Acceleration (WBPA) technology at the European Society of Cardiology meeting held in Munich, Germany August 30 to September 3, 2008. Their paper entitled “Novel Treatment with Periodic Acceleration with a Horizontal Motion Platform for Anginal Patients” was aimed at demonstrating the effectiveness of daily WBPA treatments on these patients based on previous work that showed this passive exercise technology was associated with increased nitric oxide release and improved arterial function.
