CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neurowave Medical Technologies (Neurowave) has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against ComfortQuest, Inc. and two of its principals, Thomas Mann (a former Neurowave consultant) and Joseph Norris, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District Court of Illinois. Neurowave’s complaint asserts that ComfortQuest, Mr. Mann and Mr. Norris have infringed Neurowave’s U.S. Patent Numbers 6,076,018; 6,567,695; and 7,127,288, by making, having made, offering for sale, selling, and/or using transdermal neuromodulation methods and devices, including the Comfort Quest Morning Sickness Relief device (Model: CQ-P3) and the Comfort Quest Anti Motion Sickness Band (Model: CQ-M3). The company is seeking damages for such infringement, including treble damages for willful infringement, and an injunction prohibiting further infringement of the infringed Neurowave patents.
