MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The board of directors of Medtronic, Inc. (NYSE:MDT), today approved a cash dividend of $0.125 per share of the Company’s common stock. The new dividend is an increase of nearly 14% over the fiscal year 2007 quarterly dividends of $0.11 per share. Medtronic has paid a dividend to shareholders since the beginning of fiscal year 1978 and has increased its dividend each year.
The dividend is payable on July 27, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 6, 2007.
