Houston, TX - September 1, 2011 -- DigiView, the top-rated, Best in KLAS Cardiology PACS and Structured Reporting Solution was recently chosen by Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, D.C. to replace their current CVIS and CPACS. The facility will implement Digisonics, providing clinicians access to high performance image review, structured reporting, and an integrated clinical database for all cardiovascular modalities. With the DigiNet Pro add-on, users will also be able to access the complete solution from anywhere at any time via the Internet to instantly review study images and create structured reports.
In addition, DigiView Search will allow Medical Faculty Associates to query the CVIS Database for comprehensive clinical and/or production reports. These reports can aid in improving overall departmental efficiency by allowing users to extract clinical information for use in research and statistical summaries, compiles necessary statistics required for accreditation, and tracks activity from referring physicians. Search results can be exported into Excel or ASCII format and plotted in graphs for easy review.
Digisonics will also be providing a series of interfaces to provide a level of automation within the lab. DataLink will auto-populate the clinical data from the facility’s GE Vivid 7 ultrasound machines; The HL7 interfaces will communicate with the facility’s AllScripts EMR, ultimately providing embedded reporting and web-image links within AllScripts. And the Rolodex product will automate report distribution via email and/or fax to the referring community.
The Digisonics Cardiovascular PACS and Structured Reporting System and interface applications will enable Medical Faculty Associates to maintain a fully digital workflow, improving report turnaround times and overall efficiency.
