MAXIMUS to Present at MESC, NAMPI and HCBS Conferences about Digital Innovations in Long-Term Care and Provider Services

MAXIMUS announced today that it will have several featured presenters at this year’s Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC), National Association for Medicaid Program Integrity (NAMPI), and National Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) Conference.

At MESC, Barbara Selter, Vice President of Health Services at MAXIMUS, will lead a session titled “Using Technology to Enhance Long-Term Services and Supports.” She will share examples of how innovative technologies can help streamline and improve the financial eligibility determination for home and community-based services, as well as promote independence and quality of life for the growing LTSS population. Ms. Selter will be joined by Victoria Meakin, President of Ocrolus, Inc.

At NAMPI, John P. Crouse, Vice President of Health Services at MAXIMUS, will lead a panel session titled “State - Vendor Cooperation: Making Program Integrity Projects Successful.” The discussion will highlight how the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Program Integrity team and MAXIMUS overcame challenges and obstacles to ultimately implement a successful, cutting-edge Provider Screening & Enrollment project. His panel will include Peg Loos, Program Director at MAXIMUS, and members of the Nebraska DHHS Program Integrity team, including Anne Harvey, Administrator; Erica Brooks, Program Specialist; and Melissa Haecker, Fraud & Abuse Investigator.

At HCBS, Barbara Selter will participate in a panel session titled “Leveraging Digital Platforms, Coaching, & Contact Centers to Improve Health, Overcome Loneliness, & Encourage Employment in HCBS programs.” The session will examine how bringing people, process and technology together in state HCBS programs can achieve cost reductions while advancing beneficiary health and competitive employment to overcome social isolation and promote community integration. Ms. Selter will present alongside Michael Garbus, Vice President of Global Health Business Development and Solutions at MAXIMUS, as well as members from Mozzaz, including Linda Lusis, Vice President of National Accounts, and Rini Gahir, Co-Founder.

Also presenting at HCBS is Nancy Shanley, Vice President of Consulting and Policy Analysis at MAXIMUS, who will lead a session titled “PASRR and No Wrong Door: Moving Beyond Compliance.” This presentation will showcase a cross-state view of aggregate PASRR process, operational, clinical, quality, and outcome data that can be used to help maximize the return on investment of PASRR data for the benefit of the individuals served.
