AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Luminex Corporation (NASDAQ: LMNX), the worldwide leader in multiplexed solutions, held its annual meeting of stockholders today in Austin, Texas. In the formal business conducted at the meeting, stockholders elected four Class III directors to new three-year terms expiring with the 2012 annual meeting. Elected to three-year terms were Patrick J. Balthrop, president and chief executive officer of Luminex Corporation; G. Walter Lowenbaum, chairman and chief executive officer of Mumboe Corp. and chairman of Luminex Corporation; and Kevin M. McNamara, director of Tyson Foods, Inc.
