Light Sciences Oncology, Inc. Appoints David P. Holveck to Its Board of Directors

BELLEVUE, Wash., April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Light Sciences Oncology, Inc. (LSO) today announced the appointment of David P. Holveck to its Board of Directors. The appointment increases Board membership to eight.

Holveck, 62, is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Endo Pharmaceuticals. He is the former President of Johnson & Johnson Development Corp. and a Vice President of Corporate Development with Johnson & Johnson . Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Centocor Inc. until its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson in 1999. Prior to joining Centocor, he had held positions at General Electric Company, Corning Glass Works and Abbott Laboratories.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in education/science from West Chester University.
