SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE:KCI) today reported second quarter 2008 total revenue of $462.1 million, an increase of 17% from the second quarter of 2007. Total revenue for the first half of 2008 was $882.1 million, a 15% increase from the prior-year period. Foreign currency exchange movements favorably impacted total revenue for the second quarter and first six months of 2008 by 4% compared to the corresponding periods of the prior year.
