Seeking to tame the spermy anarchy, Oliver Schmidt’s team at the Institute for Integrative Nanosciences in Germany reportedly found a way. First, they obtained a sample of unsuspecting bull sperm. Then, utilizing ferromagnetic microtubes, they were able to trap individual sperm cells.
