WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The U.S. military’s interest in secure domestic sources of renewable biofuels will be one of the top trends for 2011, according to respondents of the recent BIO/Biofuels Digest “11 Hot Trends for 2011” poll. Hawaiian companies and U.S. military buyers will discuss progress in meeting the requirements for military use of biofuels that reduce reliance on foreign oil at the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO) 2010 Pacific Rim Summit on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy, to be held Dec. 11-14 in Honolulu at the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Beach Resort and Spa.
