Palm Beach Post -- The state’s Innovation Incentive Fund has financed the expansion of three high-powered biotechnology research centers in Florida, with two more on the way. But that was during two budget years when a generous legislature stocked the fund with $250 million and $200 million, respectively. This year, as the state looks for ways to trim the budget, the legislature may not be as charitable, one Senate committee chairman said.
