Escitalopram Eases Hot Flash Frequency, Severity: Presented at NAMS

Doctor’s Guide -- CHICAGO -- October 10, 2010 -- Escitalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), decreased the frequency of hot flashes among postmenopausal women and those transitioning to menopause, according to a placebo-controlled study presented here at the 21st Annual Meeting of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
