(Nasdaq:ELGX - News) today announced that it has entered into definitive agreements with several institutional investors for the sale of approximately 6.1 million shares of its common stock at $3.30 per share in a direct equity placement for gross proceeds to the company of approximately $20.0 million. The offering is expected to close on June 2, 2006.
