CLEVELAND, Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DATATRAK International, Inc. (OTCQX: DATA), a technology and services company focused on global eClinical solutions for the clinical trials industry, today announced translation of DATATRAK ONE to Simplified Chinese for use in the Chinese market. Together, with CRO Connect Partner Tigermed, DATATRAK deployed its randomization and inventory supply management product, uIRT, in its first Chinese-only study.
“We are glad to work with DATATRAK and deploy its IRT product for the first time in local language for a clinical trial in China,” commented Wen Chen, Tigermed Vice President of Business Development. “This language enhancement is a demonstration of DATATRAK’s commitment to build its presence in the data management product category and improve the end-user experience in a fast growing emerging market. The offering is unique in a market where adopting an EDC product for a local trial is still not very common.”
“The conversion of DATATRAK ONE to Simplified Chinese has opened many doors for us in China,” stated Laurence P. Birch, DATATRAK’s Chairman of the Board and CEO. “From the signing of our CRO Connect Partnership in August to deploying our first trial in November, Tigermed has been instrumental in the growth of our China strategy and the promotion of DATATRAK ONE.”
