Covidien (NYSE:COV) confirmed reports that the company notched a new medtech acquisition with the stealthy purchase of Zephyr Technology, originally reported by MobiHealthNews. Zephyr makes wireless monitors, including the consumer-focused BioHarness heart rate, breathing and posture monitor and the BioPatch continuous patient monitor.
