LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 2006--Clearant, Inc. (OTCBB:CLRI - News) today announced that two Clearant Sterile Implants were used in a successful two-level cervical fusion surgery done last week at the University of California, Los Angeles. This represents the first use of sterile bone allograft implants supplied through Clearant's new direct distribution program. The procedure was performed by Jeffrey C. Wang, M.D., Chief, Orthopedic Spine Service, and Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at the UCLA School of Medicine.
