SALT LAKE CITY, March 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BSD Medical Corp. today announced that the company has received a payment of nearly $5.9 million as quarterly proceeds through the earnout from the sale of TherMatrx, Inc., bringing total receipts thus-far to approximately $33 million. The company also anticipates further compensation in the settlement of the transaction. The recent payment will be reflected in the company's third quarter of fiscal 2006, which began March 1, 2006. A prior quarterly payment was also received and announced that will be similarly reflected in BSD's second quarter results that have not yet been reported.
