INDIANAPOLIS (February 23, 2009) – BioStorage Technologies, Inc. (BST), a worldwide provider of long- and short-term storage of biomaterials, sample management and cold chain logistics, announces the recent promotion of Lori Ball to Senior Vice President of global operations, sales and marketing.
Ball joined BioStorage Technologies in 2007, as Vice President of global sales and marketing, and was responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives including corporate branding, global sales, domestic and international marketing and new service roll-outs. In addition to these responsibilities, she will now oversee: operations, logistics, sample handling and processing as well as information technology for the company.

Prior to joining BioStorage, Ball was at Covance, Inc., a central laboratory services company, where she served as global head of sales/business development and global head of supply chain management and logistics. In these roles, she had a proven track record of sales and revenue growth and was responsible for overseeing multiple lines of management.
Additionally, she is a known industry speaker and an expert on specimen transportation.
Ball earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Anderson University. In addition, she holds Six Sigma Green Belt credentials and has completed Six Sigma Executive and Champion training.
