SAN FRANCISCO, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- BioSpace, the world's leading online bioscience job board community and life science career fair company, announced today an alliance with IBC Life Sciences whereby BioSpace will produce a Life Science Career Fair in conjunction with IBC's Drug Discovery & Development of Innovative Therapeutics World Congress (DDT) in Boston during August of 2008.
The event will be marketed and promoted to the 500,000 life science professionals from the BioSpace community as well as thousands of IBC conference attendees. For admittance to the Career Fair, all candidates are required to possess a four year degree in a relevant discipline, and a minimum of two years experience in a bioscience-related field or industry. As with every Career Fair, BioSpace will pre-screen all candidates. All companies exhibiting at the job fair will have access to a private, searchable BioSpace Resume Database containing the resumes of all candidates that register for the event.
"We are pleased to present a BioSpace Career Fair as part of the 2008 Drug Discovery & Development of Innovative Therapeutics (DDT) World Congress," said Wes Crews, CEO of BioSpace. "The BioSpace and DDT audiences dovetail nicely and present exhibitors of each event the opportunity to leverage the co-marketing efforts and foot traffic that we each present."
"IBC is proud to present the 13th Annual Drug Discovery & Development of Innovative Therapeutics World Congress, and BioSpace is a natural fit for a Career Fair partner," said Michael Keenan, Director of Product Management for IBC Life Sciences. "We know that our complementary events will help to drive traffic to one another and anticipate a record turnout this year."
