SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Biological Dynamics, a company committed to improving global health outcomes by empowering global communities with accessible cancer diagnostics, today announced that its OmniVerita system has been selected as the winner of CONNECT’s Most Innovative New Product Award in the Life Science Products, Clinical Stage category. CONNECT, a premier innovation company accelerator in San Diego that creates and scales great companies in the technology and life sciences sectors, continues its 31-year tradition of celebrating innovation leaders in the local San Diego community.

OmniVerita is a proprietary automated benchtop analyzer developed by Biological Dynamics. It features a novel isolation technology, Verita, and is designed for detection and quantification of valuable blood-based biomarkers, such as cell-free DNA, without sample pre-processing in less than one hour. The first test that will be performed using the OmniVerita will measure plasma cell-free DNA levels for the purpose of response evaluation in people undergoing treatments with anti-cancer therapies.
