RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. (Nasdaq: BDSI) announced today the hiring of Benny Ward as Executive Vice President of Business and Strategic Development. In this capacity, Mr. Ward, the former Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Closure Medical Corporation, will lead BDSI’s business and strategic development initiatives as well as investor relations activities. Mr. Ward will report directly to Dr. Mark A. Sirgo, President and Chief Executive Officer.
