Shares of several biodefense companies climbed noticeably Thursday morning in the wake of a deadly terrorist attack on London’s mass transit system, allegedly by al-Qaida operatives.Significant gains were made by several biotechnology companies that are also developing products that can be used to help protect civilians from biological, radiological or chemical terrorist attacks.
