Bayer Corporation Makes $20 Billion Takeover Bid For Schering Corporation

Drug maker Bayer AG on Thursday made its official takeover bid for Schering AG, offering $20.01 billion, slightly more than the $19.76 billion that Schering’s board had recommended be accepted.
