Wolters Kluwer Health (WKH), the leading drug information provider, today announced the launch of the Medication Order Management Database(TM) (MOMD) to support computerized prescriber order entry (CPOE)/e-prescribing applications. MOMD provides clinically relevant medication orders (otherwise know as "sigs" or "dosing instructions") to ensure patients are prescribed the most appropriate dose based on a given drug and set of clinical parameters. This will help to reduce the thousands of medical errors that occur every year in the United States.
