Six Keynote and 42 Session Speakers to Discuss Varying Aspects of Translational Medicine from Data Harmonization and Open Data and Intellectual Property to Scalable Genomics
Wakefield, Massachusetts - September 26, 2016 -The tranSMART Foundation, a non-profit organization providing a global, open-source, open-data knowledge management platform for scientists to share pre-competitive translational research data, today announced the full agenda for its 2016 tranSMART Annual Meeting at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla, Calif., October 25-27, 2016.
Attendees will see examples of several of the leading data sciences labs in medical research applications; hear about uses of the tranSMART platform in a variety of disease research areas; learn more about the latest developments and future roadmap of the tranSMART platform for translational research; and participate in sessions on a variety of topics. In addition to the six keynote speakers, there will 42 presentations within nine different session areas, including: Scientific Applications of tranSMART; Open Data; Platform Release 16.2; Integrating Clinical Data; tranSMART Data Standards Roundtable; Centers of Excellence: Panel of New Projects; Future Technologies: Scalable Genomics, etc.; OpenBEL; and Roadmap (17.1, 17.2. 18.1).
