RESTON, Va. & LANDOVER, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2005--The Epilepsy Project and the Epilepsy Foundation, non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing innovative new therapies for people afflicted with epilepsy, today announced the three recipients of their New Therapy Grants Program biannual review. These grants are providing a record $425,000 to advance translational research projects in epilepsy. Grant recipients were chosen on the basis of demonstrating a clear translational pathway to bring new therapies from the laboratory to patients with epilepsy.
